Roth Eleven Music Review Site

At RothEleven, we believe in free music for starting bands and artists, as the best way to grow. Give it away for free, and make sure a lot of people have access to it.

All staff members of Roth Eleven have been there: making a first CD, putting a lot of money in it, and then seeing a sales volume of a couple of hundreds of copies... Whereas, if it's money you need for your band, you'd much better spend your energy in getting a good live show on the tracks.

So that is why we have made this site. This site is dedicated to beginning Belgian musicians and bands that are dying to get some hard and honest feedback on their music from a wide audience of music fans. As an artist or band, you don't have to go through the hassle of setting up a web site for this; you can simply upload your tracks after having registered! You'll get an email whenever someone has entered a review on one of your tracks. Uploading tracks is currently free of charge (i.e. as long as this site is in trial mode), but this might change in the future. As a music reviewer, you can browse through the available tracks, and give hard and honest feedback in a text field.

How it works for an artist/musician/band:

• Register to become a Roth Eleven member
• During registration, information about you as an artist, musician, band can be entered (name, music genre, description, logo, contact e-mail address)
• Also, you have to declare that you are not registered as a member of rights holding association such as SABAM. This might sound very restrictive, but it is in the best interest of our members as well as the rights holding associations with whom we do not want any trouble.
• After having submitted your registration, Roth Eleven evaluates the application and sends back a confirmation email in case of admission.
• From this moment on, the new member is registered and can login on the site.
• As a member, a number of features are at your disposal: upload tracks, manage track information, edit artist information, and above all - check the reviews that listeners have entered! REVIEWS ARE ONLY VISIBLE FOR THE CORRESPONDING MEMBER
• If someone has done a review of a track, you are automatically notified by e-mail

How it works for a visitor of the site:

• Very simple: browse through the list of artists, or the list of tracks
• Listen to a track and/or download it.
• Rate the track and - even better - enter some words of comment for the makers of the track.
